The Trust currently has four core production kitchens at Pinvin CE Academy, St Barnabas CE First & Middle School, St Oswald’s CE Primary School and The Littletons CE First School. These kitchens provide a delivered service to a number of the Schools within the Trust, as well as receiving deliveries from other central kitchens utilised by their incumbent providers. To aid efficiencies, this method of delivered services is expected to continue, with investment in these production kitchens being essential to ensure the necessary maintenance and operational requirement is fulfilled.
The contract covers the scope for the provision of all catering services across the Trust, which also includes all hospitality and free issue requirements.
The duration of the contract being offered is for an initial three-year period commencing on 01 September 2025, with the potential to extend for a further two 12-month periods. These extensions will be granted by mutual consent and on the same terms and conditions as the original contract without the right to further extend beyond the full five years.
The contract being offered within this tender will be on a guaranteed performance basis, with an expected profit share of any betterment to the agreed budget.
