The contract will be on a fixed price basis and is anticipated to be awarded in May 2020 for an initial period of three years with an option to extend by a maximum of up to two years.
The turnover for the initial three-year period is estimated at £1,350,000.

Objectives:

The appointed Supplier will preferably be Corporate Members of BICSc and have significant experience of delivering quality cleaning services within school premises. The Supplier should have suitable experience and expertise of successfully managing the TUPE process and as a consequence be experienced at managing and willing to apply for Admitted Body Status in order to administer any transferring staff under TUPE that are currently within the LGPS (local Government Pension Scheme).
The Supplier should also have a strong operational base in London and have adequate local contract support and operational flexibility as and when needed.
Ultimately, it is important that the Supplier can demonstrate an ability to deliver productivity and efficiencies through the application of best practice and innovation and as a result will be expected to deliver sustainable quality and ‘best value’ to the Trust.
