II.1.4) Short description: The Cam Academy Trust currently oversees a group of seven primary phase, four secondary Schools and two sixth form Colleges in South Cambridgeshire and Huntingdon, with one just over the border in central Bedfordshire.
Originally set up to oversee Comberton Village College's conversion to academy status, its role is now to ensure excellence in all its academies.
The cleaning contract will be for three of the schools:

Melbourn Village College
St Peter's School and Sixth Form.

It should be noted that the successful Supplier will be expected to bring to the cleaning element of the contract: innovation; new equipment; and cleaning methods, with BICSc standards being achieved as a minimum, thus ensuring that the highest levels of cleanliness are maintained in all areas at all times and also ensuring that the productivity of the cleaning operatives is enhanced moving forward into the new contract term.
